BENEFITS OF ALMONDS INCLUDE
CREATE YOUR ALMOND BUTTER

Get a glass jar with a proper seal to it if you want to prepare a big batch and use it over the week!
(For my trial I used half the ingredients and it worked great!)
Place the nuts in a food processor and turn it on for 3 minutes. Stop to scrape the sides and process for another minute. Add the salt and honey and process for a further minute. This will provide you with almond butter that you can enjoy for a while. If you like the consistency you can skip adding the almond oil, otherwise add a teaspoon. Seal well and refrigerate!
ALMOND BUTTER PANCAKES
Top with your favourite fruit, mixed nuts, or a handful of chocolate chips.

Ingredients:
Makes 6 medium pancakes
1 Cup whole wheat flour
2 Tablespoons brown sugar
1 Teaspoon baking soda
1 Egg
2 and a half tablespoons Almond butter (you can substitute with homemade peanut butter too)
3/4 cups milk (almond milk for lactose intolerance)
Directions:
Combine all ingredients and blend well until completely combined. Pour batter onto griddle or skillet and keep the heat low, cook the pancakes until the tops begin to bubble slightly. Flip and cook the other side until light brown. Top with syrup and desired toppings (fruit & honey) and enjoy!
